POE 2 Forbidden Rites event league is currently underway and is incredibly popular. As a separate event league, you need to start over, complete the initial progression, build your character, and actively complete challenges to earn the event rewards.
If you want to quickly progress through Forbidden Rites without getting bogged down in endless grinding, then the Forbidden Rites Flameblast Oil Grenade build, a sustained damage build for fast map clearing, might be worth trying.
With this build, you can experience incredibly smooth map clearing and feel the immense satisfaction of seeing damage fill the screen. Use Flameblast to create a powerful Ignite, then use Oil Grenade to spread that damage across groups of enemies. With Gemling Legionnaire and Advanced Thaumaturgy supporting the setup, Skill Gem quality becomes an important part of the build's damage scaling.
What makes this build appealing is the interaction between Flameblast and Oil Grenade. Instead of repeatedly casting a powerful spell against every pack, players can establish a strong Ignite and then use Oil Grenade to help spread it.
To maximize the effectiveness of this build, a proper upgrade path is needed. Flameblast, useful equipment, support gems, defensive stats, and other upgrades all require sufficient PoE 2 currency.
Gemcutter's Prism is particularly useful for this build, as gems play a crucial role in the Flameblast setup. Other currencies, such as Exalted Orbs, Chaos Orbs, and Divine Orbs, are also useful for crafting, trading, or upgrading high-end equipment.
In my opinion, relying solely on PoE 2 currency dropped by mobs won't allow you to upgrade multiple pieces of equipment at once, or even maximize the damage output of this build. Instead of spending an entire night farming resources just to upgrade one piece of equipment, it's better to find a way to quickly replenish resources, thus completing the character build faster, and then farm resources afterwards.
The Forbidden Rites event league has only recently begun, and you might not yet have enough PoE 2 currency to complete your Fireblast Oil Grenade Gem build. It would be a shame to give up simply because of insufficient resources.
Having enough PoE 2 currency not only allows you to complete your build faster but also gives you the upper hand in later trading, allowing you to control your game pace and avoid being easily influenced by other players.
If you want to acquire enough PoE 2 currency to complete this build in a short time, the best way is to buy PoE 2 currency on IGGM. It offers a variety of currencies suitable for different servers and platforms with ample stock, including Divine Orbs, Exalted Orbs, Chaos Orbs, Gemcutter's Prism, and other commonly used currencies. This allows you to quickly replenish your currency resources. Why Choose IGGM.com for POE 2 currency?
